We use this page to keep visitors up to date with changes that we have implemented. This includes both adding new journals or making changes to the functionality

We plan to implement the following functionality changes in the short term:
- add Journal Selection Part 2 lecture
- add CONSORT Statement Core Curriculum lecture
- add The Impact Factor® - strengths, weaknesses, and appropriate use lecture
- add Journal Selection following rejection lecture
- expand Guidelines library
- add sort and filter to journal search pages (e.g. by Indexer or Open access type) to help limit and navigate search results
- add search by title initial letter (e.g. all journals starting with "T")
- broaden each journal profile to provide additional useful information for selecting the "optimal" journal (e.g. Aims & Scope, article type, etc.)
- enhance "open access" icon to clearly show "gold" vs. "green" options
- enable users to create a profile so they can log in to select "favorite" journals and also add comments to each journal profile to help other users

- add an additional +/-1,300 journals (most included by all 3 major indexers)
- add SPIRIT Statement lecture
- add total number of Open Access journals in our collection (on Journals / Facts & Figures page)

- added "Click to search PubMed" function for journals indexed by NIH - this opens a new tab and displays the latest 3 years of articles - refer to our "selecting the 'right' journal" document or video for more information ... SOON
- corrected display of Journal Search results to restrict table, with the ability to hover mouse over list to fully expand if required

- added this "Updates" page
- corrected display of "Home" and "Instructions for Authors" links so they did not display if we do not have those URLs in our database
- added opt-in email list - the "Stay informed" button to the top right of the header
